Donate Your Cans & Bottles
YES has an ongoing blue bag bottle drive fundraiser. Simply pick up a blue bag at YES, fill it up with cans and bottles for deposit, and drop it off on our porch. All of the money earned from this drive goes directly to the youth at YES through activities, events, earned income opportunities, and more!
Donate to YES every time you Shop at Fred Meyer
Did you know that you could be donating to YES every time you shop at Fred Meyer, without paying more? Link your Fred Meyer Rewards Card to Youth Empowerment Shelter HERE. If you do not have a Rewards Card, you can sign up for one at the Customer Service Desk of any Fred Meyer store.

Purchase Supplies on our Amazon Wish List
Items include backpacks, water bottles, socks, weighted blankets, and more. All of the items on the wish list will go directly to the youth we serve when they enter our programs.
Host a Fundraiser on Facebook
Fundraise on Facebook for a special event (ex: birthday, anniversary), listing YES as the charity recipient. Click Fundraisers on the left side of your newsfeed and follow the instructions.
Are you 70 1/2 or older?
Consider a QCD (Qualified Charitable Distribution) from your IRA and exclude the amount from taxable income.

Donate New or Gently Used Clothing
We have a small clothing closet at the shelter where youth can look for some needed items. We are currently accepting the following donations: new socks, pajamas, neutral-colored t-shirts, shorts, sweatshirts, leggings, sweatpants, backpacks, duffle bags, luggage, new hygiene supplies and products, new or gently used shoes/sandals (adult sizes), and gift cards to local thrift or clothing stores.
Drop off your clothing Monday-Friday from 9AM-5PM at our office on 610 Court St, The Dalles.
